Oakberry will continue as the official Acai of the World Surfing Association Australia

World Surf League: COOLANGATTA, Queensland/Australia (Friday, March 18, 2022) – Oakberry Acai will continue its strong association with professional surfing until 2023 as the Official Acai of the World Surf Association Australia thanks to a new expanded agreement between the partners.

The new agreement will not only see Oakberry align with all Elite Championship and Challenge Series events in Australia and Indonesia (G-Land), but will also see Oakberry continue to be the title partner of the Tweed Coast Pro QS5000 event.

“We are excited and appreciative to continue this wonderful partnership with Oakberry Acai,” said Andrew Stark, Managing Director of WSL APAC. “Their continued commitment, at all levels of the tours, is a great reflection of the passion this brand has for professional surfing. The Oakberry Acai has been a great addition to our events across the country and we thank them for their support.”

At each event, an Oakberry will be activated each day of the competition, selling the Acai to competitors and fans.

Oakberry is pleased to announce that top surfer and former Tour Championship competitor Laura Ennifer has become a brand ambassador for Oakberry Acai Australia. Laura is also a popular and well-known commentator on WSL broadcasts. The deal with Laura is for 2022 and during that time, she will work with Oakberry to spread the good news of Oakberry Acai to the surfing community across Australia.

Oakberry Acai Australia CEO Renan Pinto said, “We are once again delighted to be in partnership with WSL. The relationship between the love of surfing, the ocean and the Oakberry community is very strong, and we feel our bond with WSL reinforces this for all parties.” “Moreover, being named the sponsor rights to Oakberry Tweed Coast Pro once again is a huge privilege and an honor for us and we are excited to be a part of the competition on the Tweed Coast, one of the most beautiful areas of East Coast Australia.”

The deal will also see Oakberry obtain broadcast integration, an advertising media plan, and branded content to run across their own channels, as well as throughout the event’s broadcast.

The next Oakberry Tweed Coast Pro will run from March 21-27, 2022.
