Laredo wrestler Carla Gonzalez signs deal with WWE



Laredon Roc-C, real name Carla Gonzalez, has officially signed with WWE, the company announced Thursday.

Gonzalez and 13 others join WWE’s latest signing class, all of whom will be part of the NXT brand.

“Do you know what it’s like to wake up every day like you’re on a mission?” Gonzalez posted the news on social media. “mission accomplished!”

Laredone has appeared in WWE once before as she was used as an extra on the January 27, 2020 episode of Raw – the longest running episodic TV show in history.

Gonzalez joined WWE after a successful independent career.


The twenty-year-old began his training at the age of 13 with Mad-1 of the Laredo Wrestling Alliance, now known as George Wolfe. Gonzalez joined Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling Promotion and Wrestling School at the age of 16.

Gonzalez won the Ring of Honor women’s championship last September by defeating Miranda Alize in the final of the women’s title tournament at Death Before Dishonor. She lost the championship to Deona Purrazo in an Impact Wrestling taping in January.

Her contract with ROH expired at the end of 2021 after the company went on hiatus. Gonzalez has worked on only a limited number of independent dates since ROH’s hiatus.
